 Elegant Touch Christmas Reindeer Nails - £7.10 Look Fantastic 

I'm more nail polish than fake nails but I do love the amazing designs that are coming out on stick on nails at the moment. I was doing an order for a friends birthday and couldn't avoid putting these in my basket for myself. I don't wear stick on nails often but when I do I tend to opt for the elegant touch brand in short. I can't stand the long fake nail look and feel - I just don't know how anyone gets anything done with them on. These are super short and are supplied with little sticky pads. I did give these ago when I got these but the nails just wouldn't stick and kept coming out when I touched pretty much anything. So I opted for a nail glue I had and they haven't budged since. I adore the pattern on these they are going to go so well with the many Christmas jumper days I have coming up at work. It's a lovely simple design that just screams Christmas. The pack includes 24 nails in 10 sizes and a little nail file. They are super shiny and I really can't stop looking at them so happy I included them in my basket they're so fun and Christmassy!

Essie - Ridge Filler (the ultimate base for artificial nails)

The Essie ridge filler is described as 'the ultimate base for artificial nails' I don't wear fake nails a whole lot but this product to me isn't just the best base for artificial nails it is simply the best base. It completely smoothes out my nails and leaves any polish looking flawless on top of it. I do also find that when occasionally using a false nail here and there it does give my nail a really smooth surface to glue a nail onto. I thought this polish would be gloopy and a bit thick to create such a smooth base but it really isn't. It also has a tint of white to it so any colour will pop a little more when applied on top of it. 

Tuxedo Nail Art Fake Nails - Primark

I have attempted the Zooey Deschanel Tuxedo nail art sooo many times. My lack of patience, an unsteady hand and black on white has always ended in a big mess. When I saw these in Primark for just £1 I had to get them. I don't normally wear fake nails but these were too cute and too cheap to pass by. I tried putting them on all my nails but it just looked a little OTT I much prefer them it as a statement nail like in the picture above. They are so much fun and really pop against another bright colour - I'm wearing Models Own Pink Punch. I did find the black started to rub off a little bit so would recommend a clear top coat so they last longer. I just love them and will be keeping my eye out for other cute designs. For £1 you get 24 nails and using them as statement nails means they will last for ages and just be such good value. 

Impress Press-On Manicure

I was too happy to receive these impress nails in last months Glossybox. I dont wear false nails ever but these looked so easy to put on and were so pretty I've been eyeing them up from the many adverts with Nicole Scherzinger adorning her fingers with them. They cost £8.99  and as someone who doesn't wear false nails I would never have bought them.

I got on with these really well - they apply so easily you literally work out which nail each fits too peal off the back and apply down. You do need to trim each one but this is super easy with nail clippers or nail scissors or just file them if its not that much that needs to come off. They pattern I got looks super lovely on and got loads of lovely comments.

The down side to these is - the sticky pad that ensures they stay securely on your nail doesn't set. It means that when putting your fingers through your hair you always rip out hair or get your fingers tangled into it. For me this was a no go for these nails. They ticked every single other box they lasted in pristine condition for the 5 days I wore them but they also ripped out a lot of my hair. It drove me insane I couldn't put my hair up without getting my nails stuck and I had to brush my hair trying ever so hard not to get my finger nails involved.

If you have short hair then these will be brilliant but for me they need to make the sticky pad able to set somehow. After it hits the nail it needs to go solid so it doesn't remain tacky for the duration of wearing them as I lost more hair than I ever wanted to wearing these.
