Cyprus, 2012.

I'm now back from the blue skies and blue sea's of the beautiful Cyprus. I can't say I'm happy to be back at all - Cyprus is one of my favourite places in the world the people are so amazingly happy and polite and interesting that waking up to a grey sky and a suitcase full of washing hasn't been the happiest. I thought I'd share some of my holiday snaps to make it a little better.

We went to a lovely place called Protaras which is on the Ayia Napa side of the island but not actually near Ayia Napa. We stayed in Fig Tree Bay which was idyllic - it really was such a beautiful place and we wished we booked two weeks there was still so much to see and do when we returned.

I am now back and have no other holidays planned :( this has led me to thinking a cheeky one in September/October might be in order but we'll see how money goes for this trip. However this does mean my blog will be looked after much more. I have lots of exciting posts lined up and am looking forward to getting back in the swing of it all.

Cyprus Bound.

I'm so so happy to be posting this blog post today, I am off on holiday again :) I'm an extremely lucky girl and my boyfriend has organised a week in Cyprus as a finishing university present. Unlike my last holiday I don't really need to unwind but I am very much looking forward to getting away with him to drink some cocktails and top up my tan.

Like my last holiday I have set up some scheduled posts so please do keep checking back. There's some reviews and different bits so I hope you all enjoy. I'm also attempting to schedule some tweets to direct people to my upcoming blog posts but bear with me if that doesn't work out it was my first time.

ELF Mineral Moisturising Lip Tint SPF 8

I did a little ELF order quite a few months ago whilst there was one of their mystery bag codes going (which I can't miss out on) getting a present within your order makes receiving it even more fun. In my most recent one was this Mineral Moisturising Lip Tint in shade Pink with a built in SPF 8. It retails for £3.50 here and is available in 8 shades.

I didn't want to review this properly until I'd been on holiday in the bright Canarian sun. The product is super soft and has the perfect amount of pigment in my opinion. It's a lovely sheen pink balm that glides on so easily. In terms of the SPF in it - my lips are super sensitive and flare up at any weather change whatsoever so for me the SPF 8 isn't enough (I end up needing ski strength lip products on holiday so I have a gorgeous white pout - sexayyy) it did however provide good coverage for the evenings and for the first few days at least keep my lips in good care. I think just as a balm in the English weather it is ideal as you get a little of colour whilst also having some protection. It's a cute little hand bag size in sleek black packaging and if your lips are quite resilient anyway I think this will be perfect.

Holiday Make-Up Bag

As I've done body, hair and nails I thought it only makes sense to put up my make-up packing too. If I'm honest this took far longer than it probably should have and so many things were debated for far too long. I tried to keep it as small as possible - not sure 7 lipsticks for 7 days is that small but I just wanted to take far more than that so for me its good. I've tried to take the images so you can see what everything is - nearly all of it has been reviewed on here and if it hasn't a review is most definitely on the cards for my return.

Holiday Packing - Nail Varnish

These are the shades I have packed for my holiday - of course they are all Models Own as no other polishes are even comparing to their shade range and quality right now in my opinion. They cost just £5 from Boots  who are doing for for £8 right now.

I think if I will mostly be wearing Hedonist as I am just in love with it at the moment but definitely need to pack more than just that too :)

Seen as though I am currently sunning myself in Lanzarote I thought it would be a good opportunity to schedule a few posts on what I've taken with me. Hair: Charles Worthington Mussed Up Texturising Spray (review coming soon), Tresemme Liquid Gold (review)  Loreal Elnette Satin Hairspray, Charles Worthington Sunshine Leave-In UV Protection Spray (review coming soon) Batiste Original Dry Shampoo, Shampoo & Conditioner EverPure Colour Care decanted into some Primark Travel Mini's. (£1 for three bottles shown and four little cream containers)

What must have hair and body products are you taking abroad with you this year?

I'm off on my holiday's ...

Just a little photoless post today to update everyone on where I am as I know I haven't posted for a little while. After finishing my degree on Monday I have been in whirlwind of sleeping, celebrating and pre-holiday shopping. Today I'm off to Lanzarote with my best friend Sophie as a little last minute sunshine break :) So excited - I have set up some scheduled posts for whilst I'm away all about my holiday essentials my holiday make-up bag and just things like that :)

I've bought lots of new beauty bits for testing whilst I'm away so in a week I'll get my thoughts up after abusing some products on the beach! Most of them are featured in my holiday essential posts with 'review coming soon' next to them if anyone wants one more than another then please let me know and I'll get those up first when I'm back.

See you all in a week, please keep checking back for the sponsored posts - hopefully my blog won't get too lonely whilst I'm away.

Holiday Make-Up Bag Wish List

1. Topshop - LIP STICK IN COY Price: £7.00 2. TopShop - HIGHLIGHTER IN SUNBEAM Price: £9.00 3. ELF - Studio Makeup Mist & Set £3.50  4. VIVO Baked Bronze in Bronze £5.00 5. L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes mascara £10.99 6. Models Own Balearic Cool £5 7. hello flawless oxygen wow! SPF 25 30ml £24.50 8. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream £7.99 9. Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo £5.99 10. Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner £5.99

With my holiday fast approaching and a need for a little dissertation procrastination - even though I do not have time to be honest I have put together a little holiday beauty wish list. I've had my eye on these two Topshop items for a while and really need to take the plunge and just buy them now. My MAC Fix + is running out rapidly and even though I said it was needed to stay in my beauty routine forever - I just can't afford it right now so I really want to give the ELF version a go as I find alot of their products are fantastic dupes. I need to get a shade darked of my beloved Vivo bronzer mentioned here as my current shade is going to be a little light for when I get a tan. Loreal volume million lashes mascara is my HG of mascara's I just can not fault it and its the best mascara I've ever used - I need the waterproof version ASAP for swimming in the sea :)  Still again I need to get my hands on Balearic Cool from the Models Own Hed Kandi range as Hedonist and Beach Party have been worn nearly every day since they arrived. I have read so many reviews of the Hello Flawless foundation by benefit and my current foundation is running out so I will definitely be giving this a go next I think the fact it has SPF 25 means it will be brilliant for holiday too. I need a new BB cream as always tehe and this maybelline version has SPF30 and a good shade range so I'm  going to give this a go soon. Finally Aussie Miracle Moist is my go to holiday shampoo as it really avoids the sunshine and sea water from completely ruining my hair.

Do you have some must have go to holiday products that would go nicely with my list? Let me know!

This year I'm super lucky to be going away twice within the space of 2 months. May holds a post-dissertation holiday with my best friend to the canary's and June holds a half finishing uni half birthday present to Cyprus with my boyfriend. These are literally the only things getting me through endless days alone writing dissertation hour after hour. So I thought I'd procrastinate a little bit and put together my holiday wish list. I'm trying to not do that thing of 'shopping for holiday' and ending up with clothes I will never wear in England so most of the items are a bit of everything and actually not that holiday specific. Eeek can't wait!

Is anyone else going away this year? I also need sun tan lotion but it seems to have rocketed in price since I last went away!

Christmas Weekend in Bath.

So this post is a wee bit smug but I just had the best weekend and it definitely deserves a blog post.

The boyfriend took me to Bath for a night of pure luxury as part of my Christmas presents. We stayed in the most delicious 'boutique b&b' called One Three Nine a four poster bed and a jacuzzi bath with lots of molton brown goodies adorning the bathroom.  In the evening we went to see Dick Whittington at the Royal Theatre Bath which was pure Christmas. I loved it.

Sadly it was raining the second day so we didn't get a chance to walk around Bath and see the sights, will definitely be heading back next summer for lots more sight seeing and staying in that beautiful hotel. Which also offers a bucks fizz breakfast in bed - heaven!
